(SEVIERVILLE, Tenn.) SUBMITTED – The City of Sevierville has issued a traffic advisory for Old Newport Highway on Wednesday January 7, 2026.

A traffic advisory is being issued for the area of 3232 Old Newport Highway (between Hansels Lea and Fairgarden Road) on Wednesday, January 7.
Sevierville Water and Sewer Department employees will be installing a water tap that will require periodic traffic stoppages. The work will take place from 8:30 a.m.-approximately 2:30 p.m.
Traffic will be maintained, however occasional short term delays are likely. Motorists should be prepared for slowed/stopped traffic and changing traffic patterns in the area.
