(GATLINBURG, Tenn.) SMOKIES.LIVE – Gatlinburg has announced the Baskins Creek Bypass will be closed on Tuesday for 30 minutes while Anakeesta works on their new lift system.
Here’s the advisory sent out by the City of Gatlinburg.
TRAFFIC ADVISORY – BASKINS CREEK BYPASS (Tuesday, February 17)
Motorists are advised that the Baskins Creek Bypass will be temporarily closed on Tuesday, February 17 from 10 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. to accommodate lift system work being performed by Anakeesta.
The roadway will be closed to thru traffic from Baskins Creek Bypass’ intersections with East Parkway and Stephen Drive.
Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and seek alternate routes during this temporary closure.
