(MAGGIE VALLEY, NC) SMOKIES LIVE – The next time you travel through Maggie Valley you need to be aware of a new traffic pattern. The Town of Maggie Valley has released a diagram to help travelers navigate through a new roundabout connecting Jonathan Creek to Interstate 40.
Maggie Valley released this diagram of the new roundabout. In the image, the city has color coded the lanes and included a brief explanation of lane use.
“We encourage everyone to take the time to learn to use it properly. This will help keep everyone safe as we become accustom to navigating this new traffic intersection,” said the town in a social media post.
The next time you travel through J Creek/Dellwood Road you’ll need to pay attention to where you are planning to go. This project by NCDOT is intended to improve traffic flow.
