(MARYVILLE, Tenn.) SMOKIES.LIVE – Construction crews are making progress to get Carpenters Grade Road fully open.
Crews have been focused on roadway base preparation, grading and coordination with utility providers.
You should pay close attention to the temporary traffic changes in place as a result of the construction.
The widening project was added to the long range plan in 2009 and should be completed later this year.
Construction started in March 2025.
