(PIGEON FORGE, Tenn.) SMOKIES.LIVE – Pigeon Forge Firefighters responded quickly to get a brush fire extinguished before it spread to cause damage.
Firefighters responded to the 1400 block of Upper Middle Creek Road on Thursday afternoon. Firefighters say a dumpster caught fire and spread into the nearby brush.
It is unclear at this time how the dumpster caught fire. The dumpster was on site as a part of a cabin under construction.
Firefighters say the fire spread to about an acre before being extinguished.
