Allegiant Air has added an additional nonstop service out of Knoxville to the northeast.

(KNOXVILLE, Tenn.) SMOKIES.LIVE – Air service options to reach the Great Smoky Mountains continue to expand out of Knoxville, Tennessee. Allegiant has launched a new nonstop service to Philadelphia International Airport.

Travelers between Knoxville (TYS) and Philly (PHL) will have twice a week service and is currently available through February 2027. Passengers on the inaugural flight were treated to swag, cookies and excitement.

Allegiant also resumed nonstop seasonal service to Gulf Shores International Airport.

McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS) is located 12 miles south of downtown Knoxville and 23 miles from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Gift shops, restaurants and a café are located inside the terminal.

Allegiant has become very familiar with Knoxville and the Great Smoky Mountains over the past two decades adding dozens of flights to destinations from Florida to the northeast.
