The American Eagle Foundation said on Saturday evening that one of three missing eagles from Dollywood have been found with a renewed effort to find the remaining two.
(PIGEON FORGE, Tenn.) SMOKIES.LIVE – With one of three missing American Blad Eagles found, the American Eagle Foundation is reminding people around Dollywood to be on the lookout for the remaining two.
The American Eagle Foundation said reminds people of the tips to spot the missing eagles.
TIPS TO REPORT IF YOU SEE WHAT COULD BE THE MISSING BALD EAGLES.
1. Bald Eagle Sighting & Identification
If you live in or are visiting the Smoky Mountains area and see a bald eagle:
Keep your distance: Please do not approach, feed, or attempt to capture the bird.
Look closely: Wesley does have a black leg band.
Watch for wing positioning: Her shoulder injury may cause her wings to sit unevenly or appear different from a typical eagle.
Document if possible: Photos or videos taken from a safe distance can help our team confirm her identity.
2. Reporting Tips (Direct Communication)
