Immersive family attraction says new facility will feature updated technology, new theme and interactive experiences.
PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (SMOKIES.LIVE) — XPERIA announced it is relocating to a new facility, with plans to reopen as a larger and more immersive attraction.
The company said the move follows months of speculation about its future and emphasized that the attraction is not closing but instead undergoing a major transformation.
According to XPERIA, the new location will feature a completely redesigned experience, including a new theme, updated technology, expanded interactive attractions and additional surprises for guests.
Officials said the project is intended to build on the attraction’s existing immersive entertainment concept while introducing new experiences for families and visitors.
“We’re not closing—we’re leveling up,” the company said in a social media announcement. “This next chapter of XPERIA is being designed to take immersion, excitement and family fun to a whole new level.”
XPERIA said it will release additional details, including behind-the-scenes updates, previews of the new attraction and grand reopening plans, in the coming months.
The company has not announced the location of the new facility or a reopening date.
