(KNOXVILLE, Tenn.) SMOKIES.LIVE – The City of Knoxville has announced you can take a special stroll across the Gay Street Bridge.
The bridge recently reopened to pedestrians.
“You’re invited to run, walk or bike across the newly reopened Gay Street Bridge on Friday, Jan. 16, at 6pm! No registration required. Just check in and get a bib at the Knoxville Track & Field Club tent at the start line & show your bib for discounts at area businesses. Stay tuned for more info and participating merchants,” Mayor Indya Kincannon, Knoxville, on her Facebook page.
The event will start on the Hill Avenue side beside the City-County building. She said all ages are welcome to participate.
