Taco Trail opened in April of last year and brought a quick dining option to guests visiting Gatlinburg. The restaurant offered breakfast, lunch and dinner options.
“It’s a fast-casual concept on the Parkway for our guests who are walking the Parkway and looking for side stops on their adventure, they can get a quick in and out.,” said Amanda Barnes, with Taco Trail Taqueria & Bar as the restaurant held the grand opening.
On Sunday morning, the restaurant announced on Facebook that the location was permanently closed.

The Taco Trail in Gatlinburg promised to offer good food, good drinks and a fun atmosphere.
In the Facebook post the restaurant said:
“Happy Trails from the Taco Trail team. Thank you for all the love, laughs, and tacos we’ve shared along the way. We hope to see you down the road again soon! This location is now permanently closed.”
