(SEVIERVILLE, Tenn.) SMOKIES.LIVE – Sunday morning started with a sea of snow on the ground across the Smoky Mountains.
With many mountain roads still iced over, the Sevier County Emergency Management is asking people to evaluate their area before traveling.
Sunday, a traditional check-out day, comes with a message from Sevier County to visitors and rental cabin management companies.
We understand that many visitors are scheduled to check out of overnight rentals today. Guests are encouraged to check with their rental companies before traveling. We also ask rental companies to be considerate and work with their guests to help ensure their safety. – Sevier County EMA posted on Facebook.
