(SEVIERVILLE, Tenn.) SMOKIES.LIVE – You can get a Taste of Sevier in April and support Isaiah 117 house all at the same time.

The house has been heavily used the past four years and now the playground needs to be upgraded. The cost to demolish and bring in new equipment is around $22,000.

The group plans on installing turf, a swing set that will have a rock climbing wall, a fort, a mini putt-putt hole, solar lights to go around the playground, a sensory corner for our little friends, and seating for the adults.

“Children who come to the Isaiah 117 House are often walking through one of the most confusing and frightening days of their lives. Our mission is to reduce trauma and to lavishly love. Having a playground helps our mission by giving them a safe place to simply be kids again—even if just for a moment—and that kind of joy and normalcy can make a powerful difference,” said Bethany Denton with the Sevierville house.
