(PIGEON FORGE, Tenn.) SMOKIES.LIVE – You may notice a different looking patrol car in Pigeon Forge this month as Pigeon Forge Police raise awareness for autism.
The department has a specially mark patrol car with Autism Awareness on the hood.
“We will soon be out in the public to allow people to sign the hood to show their support. Hope to see you soon at an event near you,” the department said on Facebook.
April is Autism Awareness Month which focuses on elevating voices, providing education, and advocating for support systems for autistic individuals and their families
