KUB said crews would be making a temporary road closure on Wednesday in East Knoxville.

KUB crews will implement a temporary road closure on a short section of Williams Street between West Fifth Avenue and West Magnolia Avenue from 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, as work is performed on the water and wastewater systems. Alternate routes include West Fifth Avenue, West Magnolia Avenue, West Depot Avenue and North Central Street. Traffic control measures, including flaggers, channeling devices, and signage, will be in place to assist with maintaining traffic flow. Access to driveways and businesses will be maintained.
