Travel from Pigeon Forge to Gatlinburg will be impacted as National Park crews work to make repairs on The Spur.
(GATLINBURG, Tenn.) SMOKIES.LIVE – The National Park Service has announced plans to perform repairs on damaged guardrails on the road that connects Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.
Motorists planning to travel between the two cities on Thursday, June 4, should be aware of single lane closures near the Norton Creek intersection.

Great Smoky Mountains National Park will begin repairs on damaged guardrails on the southbound section of the Gatlinburg Spur beginning Thursday, June 4. If you are travelling from Pigeon Forge to Gatlinburg, plan for single-lane closures near the Norton Creek intersection.
There will be no work after 12 p.m. on Friday and no work on Saturday or Sunday. Work will resume Monday, June 8 as needed. Please drive cautiously.
