From the Exhibit Hall to cosplay, food contests and Monkey Bingo, there’s plenty happening before the fair wraps up.
SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (Smokies.LIVE Events Center) — The Sevier County Fair is heading into its final day, but there’s still plenty of fun waiting for families before the gates close for another year.
The fair will be open Monday from 3 to 10 p.m., giving visitors one more chance to enjoy the rides, food and entertainment — and organizers say don’t forget to visit the Exhibit Hall.
The community shines in the Exhibit Hall
The Exhibit Hall is a showcase of talent from across Sevier County and beyond, with youth and adult divisions featuring everything from crops and baked goods to arts and crafts, photography, floral arrangements and domestics.
And you don’t have to live in Sevier County to participate.
Entering items is free, and exhibitors can enter up to 75 items, with one entry per class.
There are 26 departments, more than 250 youth categories and nearly 800 adult categories.
There’s also a little extra incentive: exhibitors who enter five or more items in a department receive a fair admission ticket. Enter at least 10 canned items in the Food Preservation Department and you’ll receive another admission ticket.
Beyond the ribbons and prize money, more than 50 categories offer first-place winners the opportunity to advance their entries to the Tennessee State Fair the following year.
Monday’s final-day lineup
The final day features activities throughout the afternoon and evening, including food contests throughout the day.
Then at 7 p.m., the fair gets a little more colorful with the Cosplay Contest.
And to cap off the final night, Monkey Bingo gets underway at 8:30 p.m.
With the fair open until 10 p.m., Monday is your last chance this year to soak up the sights, sounds, food and hometown spirit of the Sevier County Fair.
