(KODAK, Tenn.) SMOKIES.LIVE – “American Icons” will be the symbol of the Budweiser’s Super Bowl ad featuring an American Bald Eagle from The American Eagle Foundation in Kodak.

Lincoln has been a part of the American Eagle Foundation for years and has been seen in many events. this maybe his most famous role yet.

“We’re so proud of Lincoln and his role as a bald eagle ambassador for his species!” said Jessica Hall with the America Eagle Foundation.

“As we celebrate Budweiser’s 150th anniversary and America’s 250th birthday, we knew we had to rise to the occasion in a way only Budweiser can. ‘American Icons’ brings our heritage to life through powerful storytelling with the Budweiser Clydesdales and an American Bald Eagle,” said odd Allen, SVP of Marketing for Budweiser at Anheuser-Busch. “This year’s spot will leave fans awestruck and proud to enjoy a Budweiser as they celebrate our shared milestone moments.”

The spot ends as two farmers kick back with Budweisers after another day of hard work. They watch in awe as the Clydesdale gallops and the eagle takes flight, and one asks, in a moment of lightheartedness, “You crying?” as the other replies, “Sun’s in my eyes.” We are left with a glorious shot of the Bald Eagle soaring before the spot ends.

Lincoln was hatched at American Eagle Foundation’s (AEF) Eagle Mountain Sanctuary, where he was raised by his non-releasable parents, Liberty and Justice, until he was eight weeks old. He and his siblings were then moved to AEF’s hacking tower on Douglas Lake to prepare for life in the wild.

More recently, Lincoln has gained national recognition for his breathtaking free flights during the National Anthem at the past seven Philadelphia Eagles games.
