(KNOXVILLE, Tenn.) SMOKIES.LIVE – TDOT says their crews have reported to work and have started shifts in preparation for the winter weather moving into the area.
“TDOT crews have reported for work across the Region in anticipation of winter weather. They have loaded their trucks and will head to their routes when the time comes.  We will continue to monitor weather forecasts and adjust if necessary,” in an email sent.
TDOT plans to work on interstates and primary roads to keep them open.
Sevier County road crews say they have pre-treated roads and will be working through the storm.
